Objective of the solution: The use of new materials developed in the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in USA for constructions of optic sensors and in remedy processes studied in the Institute of Chemical Process Fundamentals of AS CR. The research includes the application of organic and organic-inorganic particles in constructions of optical sensors monitoring biotechnological processes and the preparation of new immobilised biocatalysts.

Objective of the solution:
The optimising of the composite composition considering the clay and definitions of its function in the friction process; the clay modification for the purpose of friction parameter adjustments allowing lower number of composite components; the determination of relations between the composition of volume materials and the function of the friction layer; the studies of mass transfer and of the friction characteristics of three material kinds (semi metallic, non metallic, and ceramic) which contain clay.

Objective of the project:
Project of complex system of short-time and long-time anticorrosive protection for steel metallurgy materials by the help of protective paint systems on the base of nanoinhibitors and nanopigments. Selection of optimal structures of active nanomolecules, with different chemistry substance, structure and functionality, and its influence for the formation of inhibiting and high adhesive nanomolecular coats on a surface of material. Adjustment of mechanical and chemical characteristics of newly developed paint system. Minimization of the amount of volatile organic components (VOC) in a newly designed paint system. Good applicable paint system for production and industrial use.
