February 20th 2012, Prague, Czech Republic – Czech company PARDAM, currently the only producer of inorganic nanofibers on industrial scale, which are globally distributed by Pardam’s exclusive business and marketing partner Kertak Nanotechnology, has made a great impact at Nanotech 2012 in Tokyo. This year it was a second appearance of this company at this biggest nanotechnology event in the world. As well as last year, this year the company has again received many positive reactions from business partners from all around the world.
This year was historical, not only for Pardam but for all Czech companies operating at nanotechnology field. Czech Embassy in Tokyo together with CzechTrade, CzechInvest and Czech Chamber of Commerce helped to build the Czech National Stand at Nanotech 2012, first in the history of this event.
Pardam has announced the acquisition of industrial production line Cyclone F.E.1.1. from Fiberio Corporation, Texas USA, in December 2011. This year Pardam follows with finishing the unique R&D and production facility in Nové Město na Moravě, Czech Republic. Cyclone F.E. is very cost and operational effective technology which is using centrifugal forces to stretch the fibers from polymer and melt solutions. This technology also enables very fast and progressive development and optimization of production process. Visitors at Nanotech 2012 again proved the great potential of inorganic nanofiberous materials in many final applications such as fuel cells, batteries, catalyst, composite materials and solar cells. Very big impression was also made by new composite building material “geopolymer” which has greater properties comparing the standard concrete materials.
„The fact that we have been approached by three biggest companies from Japan (Toshiba, Panasonic and Mitsubishi) with very specific requirements on application of our nanofibers in their products, confirms that our decision to concentrate on production and development of inorganic nanofiberous materials is correct”, says Daniel Možíš, CEO of Pardam.
„I feel like I have to say big Thank You to Ms. Kateřina Fialková, Czech Ambassador in Tokyo, to Mr. Ondřej Votruba and his colleagues from CzechInvest and finally to Ms. Lucie Kirschová, Czech Chamber of Commerce, who gave us a great support in Tokyo and also to CzechTrade who was coo financing our participation at the Nanotech 2012. Thank to all those people we had a great time in Tokyo and the atmosphere at the Czech National Stand was amazing and unforgettable”, contributed Jan Buk, Production Director of Pardam.
